Remittances by public corporations mostly comprise donations, sponsorships and payments for services rendered (such as counselling, devising analyses, etc.). What is seen as public corporations are corporations that are not budget users, yet they are subject to dominant influence of the State or Municipalities, which are normally their founders. The table below shows 30 public corporations and other public law entities that are not budget users, which have remitted the highest amount of funds to non-governmental organisations, and the number of different non-governmental organisations that have been allocated these funds. 

From public law entities that are not budget users, the one allocating the highest amount of funds to non-governmental organisations in 2024 was the Slovenian Student Organisation, which distributed € 4,95 million among 57 different non-governmental organisations. Among companies, Pošta Slovenije d.o.o. allocated the highest amount to non-governmental organisations, providing € 1,88 million to 190 different NGOs. It is followed by the public company ENERGETIKA LJUBLJANA d.o.o., which allocated € 1,4 million to 51 non-governmental organisations. Among the funds transferred by public companies to non-governmental organisations, we mainly find sponsorship and donation funds.

In total, 2,961 individual non-governmental organisations received funding, which represents 10,58 % of all active non-governmental organisations.
